  Some great new features and bug fixes:
  
• Headline Viewer can now update its internal provider list from a list stored at its web site. The "Add Default Providers" button in the Providers tab of the Settings form has been renamed to "Update Built-In Providers" and moved to the new Updates tab. Pushing this button will add any new providers, delete any obsolete providers, and will also make any necessary changes to keep existing providers up to date. Note that this will overwrite any changes that you have made. 
  
• The Settings dialog now contains a new tab, Updates. This dialog contains the following items:
  
  Periodically Check for Product Updates - If this item is checked, then Headline Viewer will periodically check with a server at www.headlineviewer.com to see if a newer version is available.
  
  Update Built-In Providers - When this button is pushed, Headline Viewer contacts a server at www.headlineviewer.com to request the latest information regarding the built-in providers. The text field below the button is used to provide information about providers added, changed, and deleted.
  
  Check for Provider Updates on Program Startup - If this item is checked, then Headline Viewer will get the latest information regarding the built-in providers. If new providers are found, the provider titles will be shown in blue in the Provider List on the main form. No indication will be given when a provider is deleted or changed.
  
  
• Non-text content (e.g. links to video) in Moreover content is now ignored. 
  
• Headline Viewer can now properly handle news providers that present news in languages other than English. Each news provider is now flagged with its language (English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, or Portuguese). An external translator site (translator.go.com) is invoked to translate the news from the site. There is currently not much non-English news included with Headline Viewer. For starters, try the <XML>fr site in the Technology category. This is a French site. The language of each provider is controlled by the Language dropdown in the Providers tab of the Settings dialog.
  
• Headline Viewer can now handle drops of URLs from EchoFactor  EchoFactor provides thousands of syndicated news feeds in the following areas:
  
  Celebrities 
  Cities and Regions 
  Colleges and Universities 
  Golf 
  Home and Garden 
  Jobs and Careers 
  Major League Baseball (Managers, Players, and Teams)
  Movies 
  NASCAR
  NBA (Managers, Players, and Teams)

  To access the full list of news feeds, press the Settings button and then select the External Provider Lists tab. Pressing the EchoFactor Providers... button will popup a browser window. From that window you can navigate to find feeds of interest and then drag them from the browser window on to Headline Viewer. Be sure to select the category for the news before dragging. Some special handling is done when an URL is dropped from the Echo Factor page on to Headline Viewer's main window. In particular, the story count in the URL is increased from 5 to 25, and the image URL is adjusted to point to an image that will display better in Headline Viewer.
  
• On the Providers tab of the Settings dialog, the Data URL, Site URL, and Image URL fields now accept URLs dragged from other applications and then dropped in to the field. Note that the special Echo Factor handling does not apply when when URLs are dropped directly into the fields of the Settings dialog.
  
• If the title bar of the main dialog is not displayed, then all of the context menus include a Minimize option to minimize the dialog.
  
• Creating a new provider using the New button in the Providers tab of the Settings dialog now sets the background color to white. Previously, a random color was used.
  
• Creating a new provider by dropping an appropriate URL on to Headline Viewer now sets the background color to white. Previously, a random color was used.
  
• Dropping an URL onto Headline Viewer now works if a skin is in use.
  
• Double-clicking on the image in the Providers tab of the Settings dialog now launches the browser to visit the site as specified in the Site URL. This is handy when adding new providers.
  
• Dropping an URL onto certain parts of the Headline Viewer main form no longer generates a runtime error.
  
• When entering a new RSS 0.91 URL by dropping it or by creating a new provider in the Settings dialog, any extant language tag in the RSS
  file is used to set the provider's language. This can be overridden in the Settings dialog.
